| Abstract: | The limitations of conventional palpation of heart rate (HR) during physical training is discussed. According to the characteristics of the measurement of the kinetic heart rate, a practical method for the detection and real-time processing of HR is suggested and a computer-based detecting system has been developed. Useful data from players of the Chinese National Basket-ball Team and other first-rate teams have been compiled. The results will be of value for the development of scientific methods of training. |
