专业英语建设探析

十年树木,百年树人。高校人才的培养离不开良好专业素养的师资队伍,高校的专业英语教学离不开具有专业知识的英语教师和具有英语知识的专业教师。针对当今部分非英语专业大学生英语先天不足、谈“英”色变的现状,如何从提高教师素养下功夫,突破专业英语教学的瓶颈？这是我们高职高专院校转型为本科院校后亟待解决的当务之急。

Research on ESP Construction

As the old Chinese saying goes ,it takes 10 years to grow trees but 100 years to nurture a generation of good men. Education of persons of abilities in the universities （institutes and colleges） cannot go without the experienced and high-quality educators, ESP teaching in the university （institutes and colleges）cannot go without English teachers having enough ESP knowledge. As to the status that some of the non-English major college students lack English knowledge in their early times and turn pale at the only mention of ESP,how should we get through the dilemma of ESP teaching by strengtherning the teachers＇quality？ That＇ s our immediate concern since we vocational college has turned to postgraduate institute.
