| Abstract: | The oscillation of the solutions of a type of nentral equation with variable cofficients is investigated.The necessary and sufficient conditions of existence of nonoscillatory solutions and several new oscillatory criteria for this equation are obtained.Some of these criteria are sharp.Many known theorems have been extended and improved. |
