Exploiting the Sandstone Uranite Mineral Deposits Around Oil and Gas Reservoirs

The practices in the exploration and development of petroleum and uranite prove that there are some sandstone uranite mineral deposits around oil and gas reservoirs. Therefore, it is completely possible to simultaneously explore and develop petroleum and uranite by means of the techniques and equipment now available in oilfields. In order to find out uranite, the synthetic geological study of the formation below Quaternary should be made according to the available data of exploration and development, and the radioactivity log data of old wells. New wells can be arranged according to the ways of "progressively modifying grid" and "symmetric distance distribution" based on the distribution of the primary wells. The simultaneous development of uranite and petroleum will greatly increase the economic benefit of petroleum enterprises.
