| Abstract: | The nature of the schools in China has been changed from political institutions for choosing scholars as officials (in ancient times) to educational institutions (in modern times) and social institutions. It is necessary to clarify and examine further based on such popular theories as School as Society (John and Dewey) and Society as School (Tao Xing Zhi). |
