《诗经》中“雉”意象及其文化意涵论析

Among the bird images in the Book of Songs, " pheasant" is the most special one,which best reflects people's life in the Pre-Qin Period and has a close relationship with the cultural connotation then. According to the understanding of the concept and extension of " pheasant",in the Book of Songs,the image of pheasant has four meanings: the image of thinking woman in love,status symbols in the royal family,dancing instruments in sacrifice,goodness in life. This is closely related to the characteristics of " pheasant" itself: the continuation of the ancestors' worship of nature and the unique view of destiny in Western Zhou Dynasty.
