| Abstract: | Nowadays in China there exists a large gap between translation teaching in class and the social demands of the professional translators; hence how to solve this problem has become a top priority among the translation teachers and professors. The author in this paper attempts to find an answer to it from the study of how the functionalist approach to translation makes a successful story in translator training. |
