| 摘 要： | 作为加拿大历史上的第七位总理，劳里埃在当政期间妥善处理了加拿大与英国的关系：一方面，他积极维护加拿大的国家利益，并力争扩大加拿大在英联邦内的独立自主地位，因为他坚信加拿大会逐步走向独立，并为此付出了不懈的努力，为日后加拿大的独立奠定坚实的基础；另一方面，他也十分注意保持同英国的友好合作，维护了加拿大同英国的亲密关系。 |

| Abstract: | As the seventh Prime Minister in the history of Canada. Laurier dealt with Canadian-Britain rela- tionship appropriately during his term of office. On the one hand, he protected Canada＇s rights and interests actively and made great effort to enlarge Canada＇s independence within the British Empire because he believed that there would be an independent Canada in the future. So he laid a good foundation for the Canada＇s independence. On the other hand, he strove to maintain a favorable Canadian-Britain relationship. |
