一种新的光纤分析方法

摘    要:本文提出了一种分析非均匀光纤的新方法——Chebyshev法。它的基本原理是用第一类Chebyshev多项式构成的级数来描述光纤的折射率分布和径向光波场函数R(r),然后将标量波动方程转换为简单的代数方程。此法不仅具有算式简单、收敛快、解的精确度高等优点,而且可以求出光纤中的光波场分布,色散参数的计算尤为简单。

Abstract:In this paper,we present a new analysis method to ununiform optical fibers the Chebyshev approach. Tunda-mental principle of the method is that the refractive index profile and optical wave fields functions in optical fibers are expressed in terms of the chebyshev polynomials of the electric and magnetic algebric equations. It is shown that the presented approach has not only simple algorithm, fast convergent,and exact solution etc. ,but the optical wave fields distribution in optical fibers are evaluated ,and the dispersion parameters are calculated simply.
