| Abstract: | The reaction in the transesterification of Dimethylnaphalate with Ethylene Glycol has been studied. The rate constant of transesterification was calculated from the quantity of methanol distilled from the reaction vessel. Effects of reaction temperature and effects of catalyst concentration were also discussed. |
