| Abstract: | Long standing and well established, yangge in Ba Shu is a kind of laboring folksongs composed by the farmers in Sichuan to amuse themselves. Having a strong flavor of the region and a distinctive artistic feature, yangge possesses an aesthetic value that cannot be underestimated. Being very precious, Ba Shu yangge bears profound historical heritage and abundant cultural implications. Undoubtedly, Ba Shu yangge is valuable material for us to research the historical evolution and developing tendency of the regional folk culture in our country. |
