二战中,苏联主要的战略目标是与盟国合作打败法西斯集团,并利用战胜之势为苏联的安全构筑势力范围,但势力范围的确定只是苏联的一个低层次的目标,它的深层考虑是通过苏联控制的势力范围,建立与资本主义对立的社会主义体系,从而确保苏联的国家安全及社会主义制度的安全.苏联目标与美国目标本质上的对立,使战后美苏不可能有真诚的合作,因而战后美苏冷战也是不可避免的.

The War Objective of the Soviet Union and the Shaping of the Post- war Cold War

The war objective of the Soviet Union during World War II was to defeat the Fascist forces in cooperation with the allied forces,and to build its sphere of influence for the sake of its safety.However,this was only one of its low-graded objectives.Its higher objective was to build up a system of socialist states which would confront capitalism,so that the safety of the Soviet Union and of socialism as a whole might be guaranteed.The objectives of the Soviet Union and that of the United States were basically in conflict,which made it impossible for them to have any sincere cooperation after the War.Thus the cold war between them became inevitable.
