摘    要:对比研究显示食管癌高发区磁县土壤,粮食,水和正常人发硒的质量分数「分别为0.42*10^-9,0.08*10^-9,1.24*10^-9,1.16*10^-6」最高,中发区临漳县次之「分别为0.174*10^-9,0.049*10^-9,0.68*10^-9,0.97*10^-6」,低发区魏县最低「分别为0.148*10^-9,0.026*10^-9,0.24*10^-9,0.91*10^-6」,

Abstract:The soil. grain. water and hair of good-health inhabitants samples were collected from Cixian.Linzhangxian and Weixian of Hebei province considered as high. medium and low esophageal cancer (EC)incident areas respectively in this study. The results showed that Cixian with highest incident of EC hadthe highest selenium (soil 0.42ppm. grain 0.08ppm. water 1.24ppb and human hair 1.16ppm) whilstWei-clan with lowest Incident of EC had lowest levels (soil 0. 15ppm, grain 0. 026ppm. water 0. 24ppb,halr0. 91ppm). However. there is no correlation between hair selenium and the mortality of esophagealcancer. It is therefore too simplistic to relate esophageal cancer incident just to levels of selenium in the environment. Based on the Se-rich area of Enshi where EC and other cancer incidence is the lowest in ourcountry. from experimental animal studies showing Se has and agent of cancer inhibition when it is approaching toxic level and the results of nutrition prevention trials of cancer in Linxian. China. we inferthat the Se levels in the body of I.inxian and Cixian inhabitants are not enough to block the esophageal carcinogenesis. When levels of selenium in the human body are low and selenium supplemented is not enough. selenium has not a critical effect in and srea with high incidence of esophgeal cancer.
