Probe into the Similarities and Differences between Chinese and Japanese Characters

Japanese characters are mainly made up of Chinese characters, cursive kanas and angular kanas. Sometimes Roman alphabets and Arabic numerals are also used in Japanese characters. Japanese is different from Chinese in that Japanese characters are pronounced in two different ways,and homonyms can hardly be found in Japanese, which is one of the features of Japanese.
