| Abstract: | The purpose of this study is to develop a quantitative analysis method to evaluate the effect of block strategies on the result of competition over net in volleyball. The matrix game model of competition over net in volleyball match is developed. Some problems, such as effects of attack and block strategies on the result of competition over net, evaluation of block strategy and the relation between spik-block skills and optimal block strategy, are analyzed quantitatively. |
