Gene expression of CG15899 in spermatogenesis of Drosophila

The Objective of the experiment is to check if there are specific expressions of CG15899 in male D. melanogaster. In the experiment the PCR product of CG15899has been got and in situ hybridization has been carried out with the testes of wild type male D. melanogaster and the PCR product of CG15899 has been labeled with DIG . It has given strong signals in the cytoplasm of the cells in the testes of wild type male D. melanogaster. In the end, the experiment gave us a conclusion that CG15899 is expressed in primary spermatocytes and spermatogonia.
