| Abstract: | In this paper, the dynamic behaviours of polymer-cement composite material (PC) are investigated, including the dynamic rigidity (dynamic modulus of elasticity), internal frication and ratio of elastic energy to unelastic energy in hysteresis loop under vibration, the stress wave propagation and attenuation in this material, the impact toughness and abrasiveness. The influence of polymer content on the dynamic benaviours is also studied. The investigation is carried out on ordinary portland cement and aluminous cement, and the water-cement ratio remains 0.3. The styrene-methacrylatc copolymer emulsion is adopted. The dosage of polymer is from 0 to 25% by weight. |
