Crisis of honesty appearing in our country nowadays brings about extremely severe consequences. The main causes are as follows: the drawbacks and decay of traditional morality, the influence of ultra-left thinking trend, the off-balance of the value as well as the concepts of morality and profit; in the economy changing period; the unsymmetry of the information and insufficiency of the system supply, etc. To settle the crisis and reestablish the honesty and credit, we should firstly enhance the honesty education of the citizens; secondly, we should set up our modern standard system of honesty and credit; thirdly, the local government and the leading cadres should be the models of the honesty and credit; finally, we should strengthen the construction of the legal system.
