空域精细可扩展编码算法的研究

摘    要:把精细可扩展编码的基本思想运用到空间域,提出了一种空域精细可扩展编码算法(S-FGS),在不损失压缩码率和重建图像质量的情况下,使压缩码流具备细粒度的空域可扩展性,提供了对网络带宽的灵活适应能力.在此基础上,提出了基于S-FGS算法的编解码系统模型,实现了静态图像的空域可扩展编码.实验证明,S-FGS算法的复杂度主要受扩展粒度影响,在一定粒度设置下算法是可行的.

Abstract:Combining spatial layered coding with fine granularity scalability coding techniques, an algorithm of spatial fine granularity scalable coding (S-FGS) is proposed. It provides high adaptability to network bandwidth, does not reduce the compression ratio and retains quality of reconstructed images. Based on this algorithm, a coding system model is proposed for still image data compression. Experimental results show that the time complexity of the algorithm is mainly affected by scalable granularity, and the algorithm is viable with specific granularity setting.
