How to Upgrade the Students' Spoken English Ability in Intensive Reading

In this article,the author discusses form her own teaching practice the basic principles of splken English teaching in intensive reading classes, and probes into the question of how to cultivate and improvethe students' oral communicative competence through a series of approsches from the easier to the more difficult, making use of the limited time in intensive-reading classes, so as to make the students betterable to meet the requirements of the new era of social development.
