| Abstract: | The design parameters recommended by design codes are obtained through the local investigation,experiment and collection in representational areas. But they can't completely represent all areas of our country. If they are utilized automatically,the designed pavement will arouse extravagant waste or hidden troubles. So this paper analyzes the current problems of design parameters of highway base and pavement and puts forward improving proposals concerning the modulus of resilience of earth subgrade and the material design parameters of the surface course and base course. |
