| 摘 要： | 研究了通用移动通信系统(Universal Mobile Telecommunications,UMTS)/无线局域网络(Wieless Local Areia Networks,WLAN)网络间分别基于多信息平台(Multi Information Platform,MIP)、知网空间(mSCTP)、移动应用层控制协议(SIP)三种协议进行垂直切换的方法。分析三种垂直切换方法所产生的延迟,特别是由于切换控制信令在无线链路中传输所造成的无线传输延迟。藉此提出垂直切换的改进方案。通过降低无线传输延迟来降低切换延迟,达到提高切换质量的目的。

| Abstract: | This paper focused on the three solutions (MIP, mSCTP, MSIP) of UMTS/WALN vertical handoff, analyzed the latency especially caused by the wireless transmission of handoff control signaling, and put forward improved scheme to reduce the switch delay by reducing the wireless transmission latency. |
