摘    要:翻译课在普通高校外语专业教学中属必修课,但与听、说、读、写等课程相比,受重视程度依然不够。其中的一个重要原因,是翻译教学尚未建立自己的理论知识体系。目前,翻译教学应当理论与实践并重的观点已越来越被人们接受,但翻译教学中的理论知识传授存在缺乏系统性、科学性和实用性等问题。鉴于学习理论的作用主要在于帮助学生培养翻译意识、形成正确的翻译观,本文尝试从翻译主体、翻译客体和翻译本体三个方面来构建翻译理论教学的知识体系,意在克服翻译理论教学中的盲目性和零碎性等不足,使学生对翻译获得一个比较系统科学的认识。

Abstract:Translation as a compulsory course for undergraduate majors in foreign languages has been on the periphery in their curricula. One chief reason for this is that the theoretical system of translation knowledge is not yet established or available. Though the idea that both theory and practice should be em- phasized in translation classroom is being widely accepted, the teaching of theoretic knowledge at present suffers blindness and fragmentariness. Considering the limited time allowed for the translation course as well as the cognitive function of teaching translation theory, the authors of this paper attempt to construct a system for the teaching of basic translation knowledge, which is divided into three parts: knowledge about the translator, knowledge about cultural and linguistic differences that are closely related to meaning - the object of translation, and knowledge about the translation activity itself. The purpose is to overcome the deficiencies existing in the present translation teaching and to provide students with systematic, scien- tific and practical knowledge so that they can have a panoramic view about translation.
