Discussing the Communicative Approach and its Application in My Teaching Context |

| Abstract: | The communicative approach as a relatively new one has not been widely accepted and used in some Chinese schools. Based on the advantages and disadvantages of this approach, I propose to apply it to speaking course. In this paper, the communicative approach and its application in my teaching context will be discussed critically. |
