地方大学迈向国际化的探索与实践

地方大学国际化是高等教育现代化中一个尚待深入研究的课题。目前 ,我国在这方面的研究成果尚不多见 ,成功的实践也较少。本文以佛山科学技术学院为个案 ,回顾了她 1 0余年来在地方大学国际化进程中的努力探索 ,总结出了一些成功的经验 ,并对今后 5年学校的国际交流工作进行了展望。为我国高等教育国际化 ,特别是地方大学高等教育国际化提供了宝贵的经验借鉴

An inquiry into the internationalization of local universities and its application

The internationalization of local universities, as a topic of research in the modernization of the institutes of higher learning, has not yet been fully explored. In our country, positive research results in this respective are rarely documented, and examples of successful practices much less known. Taking Foshan University as a case of study, this paper reviewed the efforts it had made in its process of internationalization over the past decade, and then outlined the acting principles of guidance. The university's prospects concerning its international exchange in the coming five years were also studied and included. This paper, the authors argued, could serve as a good source of reference for the internationalization of the institutes of higher learning in China, and of local universities in particular.
