| Abstract: | This article investigates the stability of long range ferromagnetic order of large-U single band Hubbard model with addition of a ferromagnetic exchange interaction. The result on the ferromagnetic spin wave shows that the renormalization effect of antiferromagnetic correlation on the bare band generates a Zeemann interaction,i.e., a symmetry broken term. This work also proves this Zeemann interaction leads a gap sw<0 to the ferromagnetic spin wave spectrum except for halffilling band or the lange-U limit. From this, it is concluded that the fully polararized ferromagnetic state will never be the ground state of one-band Hubbard model except for halffilling or the large-U limit, implying the absence of true long range ferromagnetic order in the finite-U single band model. |
