| Abstract: | The mechanical properties of metallic foams including tensile and compressive behaviour, energy absorption, strain rate sensitivity are introduced in this paper. Some factors such as void diameters, thesolingl material, relative density, temperature and defects are briefly discussed. The paper provides the base of theory for the further research, exploration and application of metallic foams. |
