| Abstract: | The aim of this paper is to study the interactions between hydraulic automatic gauge con-trol(A.G.C.)and associated looper and main drive controls on multi-stand hot steel strip finishing mill. The study has been carried out by simulating the A.G.C.,looper tension control system, andloop-height /main drive speed controls for mill stands.Some of practically useful results are given in thepaper. |
