| 摘 要： | 新闻写作要求文体短小精悍、简明全面、切中要点。而这些要求应在新闻标题中得到体现。英语新闻又因其语言的特殊性，其标题更体现出它所独有的特点。文章结合英语语言自身特点，探讨英语新闻标题在时态、语态、省略、标点、缩写词等方面的一些独有特征。

| Abstract: | News writing is different from the general literary style, as it requests the news to be terse and forceful, concise and comprehensive, and above all, keep to the main points. These requirements should be embodied in the news headlines. And further because of the language particularity of English news, the headlines bear the sole features.
