A Study on Mathematical Model and Algorithms for ALB

In this paper we discuss the origination of the Assembly Line Balancing Problem and its practical value,present the mathematical model of the problem,modify the model on the basis of other existing constraints. Conclude some common solution methods of this combinatorial optimization type problem,then introduce the algorithms for the problem proposed by the authors,furhter indicate the detail procedure of the algorithms through discussing some sample problems.
