| Abstract: | Concepts of Criticism by R.Wellek is an academic book that explores the method on studies of literature and criticism of literature.The paper points out that the wide field of vision is the basis of his acadamic studies,and his unique method on studies of literature embodies his historicism,the method of development and dialectical view.In the end,these two aspects have built his individual character of criticism which is simple and straightforward,meticulous,quick-witted and humourous. |
