摘    要:用美国俄克荷马州大学“风暴分析预报中心”(CAPS)开发的ARPS(Advanced Regional Prediction System)非静力中尺度数值模式讨论了美国VORTEX-95试验期间的一次飑线过程的触发和维持机制。试验表明,地面中尺度汇合线或切变线是此次飑线过程主要的触发系统和重要的维持机制之一;对流凝结潜热加热和高低空急流耦合在飑线的发展和维持有重要作用。此外,ARPS模式成功地模拟了飑线的β中尺度结构特征,表明该模式对飑线强对流天气系统有较强的模拟能力。

Abstract:Meso-scale ARPS numerical model developed by CAPS o f Oklahoma University is used to investig ate the mechanisms for init ial izat ion and maintenance of a squal l l ine o ccurr ed during VORTEX-95 experiment performed in America. It is found that surfae confluent line or shear line are possibly o ne o f the major mechanisms for init ializat io n and maintenance of the squall line. T he modeling result s also indicate that the heat ing of co nvective condense latent energ y release and the coupl ing o f upper level jet to low level jet play important roles in the development and maintenance of the squall line. In addit ion, Some common meso-Bscale st ructur al character ist ics o f the squall line are successful ly simalated, indicat ing that ARPS model possesses the capability o f simulat ion of squal l line.
