摘    要:提出了电磁感应透明(EIT)介质的一个新的相干操纵应用:控制电磁感应透明气体折射率实现对布儒斯特角的调控。将一定密度的EIT原子气体充入2块玻璃材料中,计算表明光从玻璃入射EIT原子气体的布儒斯特角随外控制场而变。通过改变控制光的拉比频率等场外参数即可达到对布儒斯特角的调控。

Abstract:A new application of coherent manipulation of EIT(electromagnetically induced transparency) medium is suggested,that is controlling the Brewster angle via manipulation of refractive index of electromagnetically induced transparency vapor.The EIT atomic vapor are filled on the background of two pieces glass whose refractive index is 1.5.By manipulating the refractive index of the EIT vapor via the external control field,one can obtain the controllable Brewster angle that is sensitive to the variations of external conditions(e.g.the intensity of the control field).It is shown that Controlling the Brewster angle can be achieved by choosing the specific parameters such as the Rabi frequency of control light.
