Research on Russian Cognitive Terminology

Russian cognitive terminology is closely related to linguistics, psychology, logic, science of sciences, and information science and technology. Terminologists believe the emergence of cognitive terminology benefits from Russia’s unique linguistic soil, cognitive terminology has followed the research paradigm of Russian cognitive linguistics since its inception. Under the new research paradigm, the research of Russian cognitive terminology mainly follows the principles of expansionism, human centrism, neofunctionalism and hermeneutics. Expansionism advocates examining terminology research from an interdisciplinary perspective, and advocates the integration of different disciplines, that is, insisting that terminology research should adhere to the concept of multi-disciplinary. Russian cognitive terminology presents a trend of interdisciplinary development, injects fresh blood into the development of psychology, logic, science of sciences, computer science, philosophy and linguistics.
