摘    要:佛教于两汉之际传入中国后,即面临着如何实现本土化的问题。在佛教初传之际的儒佛论争中,佛教被称为"无君无父的宗教",遭到了儒家伦理卫道士的极力排斥。早期佛教的弘传,一是通过格义式的辶多译佛经的方式,以中国固有的文化传统和理念来比附佛教教义,以适应中国人重孝道的伦理观念;二是通过变造伪经的办法,将印度佛典进行剪裁、删改或重新撰述,创设新经,以达到宣孝和弘教的目的,这些做法虽背离了印度佛教本义,但却为中国广大世俗信众所乐于接受,从而使佛教取得了深厚的信仰基础和广阔的发展空间,得以迅速传播。

Abstract:After the introduction of Buddhism into China in Han Dynasty,it faces the problem of integration into the indigenous culture. In the early period of its introduction, it was regarded as" religion with no king or ancestor" , thus , it was greeted by a strong repel from the Contucian ethic apologists. In the early stage, Buddhism has two spreading ways. The first way is using our traditional culture to interpret the Buddhist Scriptures. This method suits the filial piety of Chinese people and clears up the obvious difference. In order to realize the purpose of filial piety publicity and Buddhism promotion, the second way is though cutting, deleting, changing and founding to transfer the Buddhist sutras. Though these methods violate the Buddhist original idea, but it fit for the majority believers ' willing. So, Buddhism spread quickly by its deep belief foundation and broad development space.
