试论教会大学的“中国化”动因——以金陵大学为例

19世纪末20世纪初,外国传教士开始在中国创办学校,逐渐发展成为中国近代史上的教会大学。20世纪30年代以后,大量的教会大学开始了＂中国化＂的转变,并没有沿着创办它们的宗教组织所预设的路线发展下去。其中,金陵大学的＂中国化＂成为教会大学中国化过程中的一个标杆。本文通过对相关文献资料的检索整理,认为金陵大学的＂中国化＂有其深刻的内因。

DISCUSSION ON THE MOTIVATION FOR SINICIZATION OF THE CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY——CENTER ON THE NANKING UNIVERSITY

In late 19th century early 20th century,foreign missionaries began to set up schools in China,which gradually developed into the Christian universities in the Chinese modern history. Since 1930＇s,a large number of Christian universities began sinicization and didn＇t follow their original religinal route. Among them,the sinicization tendency of Nanking University is a model. This paper discusses the profound internal cause of the sinicization of Nanking University by sorting the relevant literature.
