| Abstract: | Based on the authors practice obtained from the development in the field of large scale distributed database system, the following points are presented. Some basic concepts are introduced in the first part, such as semijoin, selectivity factor, profit analysis, and distributed query processing. Query optimization algorithm of SDD - 1 focusing on semijoin is expounded primarily in the second part. Finally the completion of algorithm is proved by concrete examples and the corresponding profits are compared. |
