Abstract:Certain properties of low KH (<0. 87) high ferrite cement and low KH highalumina modulus cement that are mingled with composite mineralizers CaF2, CaSO4 or BaSO4are studied. The experiments result showes that when BaSO4 is mingled instead of CaSO4 ascomposite mineralizer, the strength of low KH high ferrite cement is superior to that of lowKH high alumina modulus cement. It also demonstrates that when compressive strength exceeds certain value, further improvement of wearability is not so relative to compressivestrength. The amount of mineralizer mingled into cement has strong impact on the propertiesof cement. Under the composition in this paper, the proper amount to be mingled is F=0. 30%, F/S= 0.32.
