ON THE CONTINUOUS DEVELOPMENT OF ENERGY RESOURCES IN GANSU PROVINCE

Based on the review of energy resources advantage and energy development in Gansu province,some relative important points are discussed as follows:1.It is necessary to reevaluate the advantage of energy sources in Gansu province;2.Waterpower is much better than coalfired power according to the situation in Gansu with very good water energy resources;3.Attention should be paid to the uses of new energy sources and potential energy sources;4.It is necessary to understand strategically and make peaceful use of nuclear energy so as to build atomicpowered stations in the future;5.While saving the resources of energy sources,we should protect the environment.It is urgent for us to find the best way to energy source development,which is suitable to the conditions of Gansu and good for the continuous development of energy.
