Grammaticalization and the Dictionary Realization of English Marginal Prepositions

The grammaticalization research in both Chinese and English has long been existing. The deftnition, classification and functions of the English marginal prepositions are going to be exposed. The headword selection change in Oxford English dictionary series and the different realization of marginal prepositions in six contemporary dictionaries will be described in detail, which verifies the existence and marginalization of the English marginal prepositions and supplies many materials for domestic English Dictionary Lexicography.
