超大厚度电火花线切割工艺研究

摘    要:从电火花加工原理出发,用流体力学方法分析切缝中工作液状况,得出切缝中工作液状况与切缝宽度、切缝长度、电极丝丝速,以及工作液粘度和工作液成分关系.当工件厚度大于200mm,由电极丝运动产生的剪切流动是工作液在切缝中流动的主要因素.从上述分析出发,通过增加脉冲峰值电流的手段增加切缝的宽度,改善了切缝中工作液状态,提高加工稳定性,实现对805mm厚的钢质工件进行加工.

Abstract:Through analysis it can be concluded that the shearing flow caused by the movement of a wire is the major factor affecting the flow of working liquid, while that caused by the difference of pressure can be neglected. The liquid from a pump only provides the working liquid for the shearing flow. The idea that the metal particles can affect the stability of WEDM affords us a new way to control the stability during processing ultra thick workpieces. After increasing the maximum value of the current, changing the ingredient of the working liquid, improving the stability of processing, an 805mm thick steel workpiece was successfully processed, thus greatly widening the processing scope.
