| Abstract: | A finite element formulation for the non-linear behaviour analysis of steel framed structures at elevated temperatures is presented,in which the critical temperature as well as the deformation and redistribution of internal force caused by high temperature and gradual penetration of the plastic zone are all involved. Finally, some illustrative examples are given to show the potential of the analysis. |
