| Abstract: | The phase shift of the linear polarization light introduced by total internal reflection is discussed. Two compensating methods for the phase shift, the optical one and the geometric one, are developed. Two designs of the high polarization-Keeping probes for the measurement of the electric current by magneetooptic techniques are given. |
