| Abstract: | Corruption is a major risk, which endangers the sound development of society at the transformation stage in China. Mertor's theory is used to discuss the social causes of corruption, which include the limited chances of reaching the social objective legally and the convenience of reaching it illegally. Some suggestions on the control of corruption are also made in the paper. |
