武术在马来西亚的传播及国际化发展研究

马来西亚是东南亚地区"功夫"最为盛行的国度之一,早期主要流行的是中国传统拳术,1978年马来西亚政府承认的武术团体的最高机构马来西亚武术总会成立.武术发展方向转为国际化方向,与其他国家一道努力把中国武术推向国际体育舞台,使中国武术成为奥运会的比赛项目.运用文献资料、查询、专家访谈等方法,系统研究马来西亚武术总会为推动和发展武术所采取的种种措施,分析马来西亚武术能在短时间内,在亚洲乃至世界范围内取得令人瞩目的成绩的原因做深入的探讨,进一步说明马来西亚的华人华侨及马来西亚武术总会对推动中华民族传统体育向海外及国际化竞技运动发展起到的重要作用.

On Martial Art's Spreading in Malaysia and Its Internationalization

Malaysia is one of the countries where ’kungfu’ is the most popular among other countries in Southeast Asia.In early times,traditional boxing was the most popular in the martial field in Malaysia.In 1978 the General Committee of Malaysia Martial Arts was established,it is the only organization that represents all the martial art organizations in Malaysia and has gained permission from the Malaysian government.There is a change in development of Malaysian martial art in that it has converted to studying and adapting the international development so as to put martial art onto the stage of international sports and to make it a part in the Olympic Games.This paper deals not only with the studies on the varies step taken by the General Committee of Malaysia Martial Arts to promote and develop the martial art by means of materials,searching and interviewing with specialists,but also with the discussion about the reason why Malaysian martial arts can have such great achievements worldwide in such a short time.And then there demonstrates in the paper the important role that Chinese-Malaysian and the General Committee of Malaysia Martial Arts play in promoting Chinese traditional sports to the whole world as a competitive sport.
