| Abstract: | In this paper, the microbial corrosion of metal in oxyphilic bacteria and anaerobic bacteria is reported. The role of microbattery in bacterial corrosion is confirmed by means of analysis. The electrochemical mechanism of microbial corrosion of metal is described. |
