步态识别作为一种新的生物特征识别技术,通过人走路的姿势实现对个人身份的识别和认证。对步态识别所涉及到的运动分割、特征提取、模式识别算法进行了综述,并对步态识别中存在的问题及未来的研究方向进行了讨论。

A Survey of Gait Recognition

As a newly emerged biometric identification technology,gait recognition refers to automatic identification of an individual based on his or her style of walking,it's a new biometrics recognition technology.This paper attempts to review the important research issues in gait recognition such as motion segment,feature extraction and recognition methods.Moreover,some research problems and future directions in gait recognition are discussed.
