摘    要:
本文介绍了一个用于扩展X射线吸收精细结构(EXAFS)谱仪的多丝正比室的研制。重点讨论了补偿电压与并丝技术的运用对丝室性能的影响。前、后多丝室最高计数率分别可达3×10~6计数/秒和6×10~6计数/秒。测量结果表明,室的性能适用于EXAFS测量。

Abstract:
In this paper the development of the multiwire proportional chamber for the extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) spectrometer is presented, Emphasis is given to the effects of the compensating voltage and the parallel connection technique of anode wires on the performance of the multiwire proportional chamber. The maximum count rates of the front and rear detectors are 3x10~6 counts/s and 6x10~6 counts/s respectively. The experimental results show that the performance of the chamber is adequate for the measurements on EXAFS.
