| Abstract: | It was reviewed that the controversy on the denominator polynomial coefficients implicated in modal parameters' estimation by the global orthogonal polynomial method,and it was argued that the reason of the estimated modal parameters with low precision in Richardson's literatures can't be accounted as Richardson's error in determining the polynomial coefficients of the rational fraction's denominator. A classical test example,widely used,was checked,and it was expounded that the simulation transfer function data with this example was computed in the references by a different strategy from what the complex modal theory provided. 1tab.,9refs. |
