摘    要:周作人的通俗文学观是他的文化观的体现。他提出了文学的“三分法”,认为在文学史的研究上,必须重视通俗文学的研究,因为通俗文学代表大部分民众的思想。他认为中国通俗文学中的世情文学起源于士大夫,而武侠文学来自民间,日本的通俗文学则相反。周作人的通俗文学观是与他的非功利的文艺观相一致的。

Abstract:Zhou Zuoren's light literature view is the embodiment of his cultural view. He has put forward "threefold division" of literature. He thought light literature must be emphasised because it represents most people's thoughts. He proposes that social trends literature in China's light literature originated from scholar-officials(in imperial times), and swordsman's fiction comes from the folk people, though light literature of Japan is opposite. Zhou Zuoren's views of light literature and art utility are identical.
